This season’s flavor was inspired by an errand at Sunrise Mart, a Japanese grocery store with locations across NYC. I was perusing the aisles when I came across a bottle of “pure 100% yuzu extract”. I picked it up without a second thought and proceeded to figure out how to make it into a cookie. What I ended up with is a wintery spin on the classic oatmeal raisin. Enjoy this soft cookie with a bright citrusy addition and golden raisins for a subtle earthy note and textural intrigue.
